May is National Small Business Month and I need your help to recognize stellar small businesses in our community! Please nominate an outstanding small business in California’s 40th State Senate District by completing this form.
California is home to 4.2 million small businesses, which represents 99.8% of all California Businesses. Crucial to the economic vitality of the state, 47.9% of California employees are employed by a small business.
In celebration of Small Business Month, I will be making a special tribute to small businesses, their hard work, and commitment to the betterment of the community, with the “40th Senate District Small Business of the Year” honor.

Honoree Requirements:
Business/Home of honoree must be located within the district.
Business must meet the Small Business Administration's Small Business Guidelines (https://www.sba.gov/document/support--table-size-standards)
A business with fewer than 100 employees
$15 million or less in gross revenue over the last three tax years
Nominations must be received by April 2, 2025 at 5:00pm.
