  • The Santee Veterans Memorial Bridge & Monument is a physical place for Santee to honor and recognize veterans, the wars they fought in, and their service contributions with a dedicated bridge and memorial monument. This project will memorialize the significant sacrifices our Veterans gave to protect our country and allow us to pay tribute to the men and women who helped preserve our freedom as we preserve their memory and educate the next generation.

This project has been approved by the City of Santee and all permits and applicable licensing needed to complete work will be obtained through TDT Construction. Funding for this project completion relies completely on private donations and fundraising efforts through the Santee Chamber of Commerce. Donations can be made online in our link below, via Venmo to username @SanteeChamber or by mailing checks payable to the "Santee Chamber of Commerce" to 9625 Mission Gorge Road, Suite B2-315, Santee, CA 92071.

Any donations received over our fundraising goal will be allocated to the Veterans Appreciation Golf Tournament to be held on Friday November 12, 2021.

Join us on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11 2021 as we make history. The Santee Chamber of Commerce and City of Santee are excited and proud to present to the citizens of Santee the newest addition to the City the Santee Veterans Memorial located on the corner of Fanita Parkway and Mast Boulevard. On November 11th we will unveil the new Veterans Memorial and dedicate the Mast Boulevard Bridge in honor of our Veterans. Everyone is welcome but keep in mind the event site is located on a street corner so parking will be limited and it will be standing room only.
Event parking and a free shuttle will be available at Padre Dam’s Customer Service parking lot (9300 Fanita Parkway, Santee CA 92071). Shuttle riders will be required to wear a face covering/mask due to MTS (public transportation/ADA accessible) providing the shuttle.
