The automotive and offroad industries are vital to our community, driving innovation, providing essential services, and supporting local jobs. These businesses not only keep us moving but also fuel our regional economy and connect us to exciting career opportunities. Recognizing their importance, the Santee Chamber hosted an industry-exclusive mixer last week at Philip Thearle's Autowerks. The event brought together over 50 guests from nearly three dozen companies, creating a dynamic space for networking and collaboration. We were also thrilled to welcome our educational partner, Cuyamaca College, who showcased their impressive Automotive Technology Career Education program, highlighting pathways for the next generation of skilled professionals. It was an inspiring evening that celebrated the strength and future of this key industry. Thank you to the staff at Philip Thearle’s for being a wonderful host, adding in so many special details into the evening, and we look forward to hosting these on a bi-annual basis.
