Santee Chamber Weekly Update 12DEC24

Hello Santee!
 

Over Thanksgiving, Santee went to New York City! Well, at least Expressions Dance and Movement Center did. Owner Darcy Fagerwold and her leadership team took 16 dancers ranging from 8th-12th grade to join over 600 dancers from all over the country to comprise the Spirit of America dance team which proudly performed in the famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. While in NYC, the kids also were able to attend Broadway shows, visit classic sites like the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Central Park and they were even able to take a class from a former Rockette at Broadway Dance Center! While we love our amazing city, we also love taking a bit it across the country and sharing our town's talent in the City of Dreams. Congratulations to EDMC for their fourth appearance in this iconic holiday tradition.
