Hello Santee!
Yesterday’s Morning Buzz at Coffee Corner was a great way to start the month. There’s something meaningful about meeting up in a space that feels familiar—especially one owned by our Santee Chamber Board Chair, Susie Parks. We had a solid crowd, and like always, I ended up chatting with people I didn’t expect to see. Every time I attend, I seem to stumble into a new connection—whether it’s a mutual friend, a shared memory, or a family link. Santee has that small-town feel where it doesn’t take long to realize you have someone in common.
One thing I genuinely enjoy about Morning Buzz is how low-key it is. You don’t need to block out your whole morning—some people stay the full two hours, others pop in for 20 minutes. I usually grab my favorite Tropical Black Iced Tea, say a few hellos, and almost always walk away having learned something new about a neighbor, a business, or the community.
Morning Buzz happens the first Wednesday of each month from 8AM – 10AM. If you haven’t checked it out yet, come by and say hello—you never know who you’ll run into or how you’re connected.
