Hello Santee!

On August 1st, the Santee Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated its 70th Anniversary with a charming 1950s-themed evening at Lantern Crest Senior Living. The celebration, graciously hosted and sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Grant, welcomed Chamber members, local dignitaries, past board presidents, and both current and former board members for a nostalgic and heartfelt gathering.

Guests were treated to tray-passed hors d’oeuvres and vintage-inspired décor that transported everyone back in time. A thoughtfully curated photo slideshow and display of historical artifacts took attendees on a meaningful journey through Santee’s growth and the Chamber’s influential role in shaping the local business community.

We were honored to welcome San Diego County Supervisor Joel Anderson, along with representatives from the offices of Carl DeMaio and Senator Brian Jones, demonstrating strong regional support for the Chamber’s mission.

The evening also highlighted the incredible generosity of our event supporters. A special thank-you goes to Eccentric International Chefs for donating a stunning 70th Anniversary cake, to Christine’s Floral Designs for crafting beautiful ice cream sundae-inspired centerpieces, and to the Santee UPS Store for providing custom signage that tied the celebration together.
