We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician with a positive attitude to join our team. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, performing a wide variety of electrical tasks. If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable leading projects or mentoring apprentices, we’d love to hear from you.

    Duties

    • Perform a variety of residential and commercial electrical work, including new construction, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
    • Work independently or with the assistance of an apprentice to complete jobs efficiently.
    • Conduct electrical installations in both interior and exterior environments.
    • Demonstrate competency in technical and manual electrical tasks, including pipe bending and the use of power tools.
    • Safely perform electrical work on "hot" circuits and systems.
    • Maintain a clean driving record and drive company vehicles as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company truck.
    • Manage material inventory on the truck, reporting low stock and ensuring adequate supplies.
    • Provide quality control for all work completed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Document job details in HCP/House Call Pro App (photos, notes, follow-up with the office).
    • Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
    • Our electricians operate out of company vehicles based in El Cajon, serving the majority of San Diego County. Reliable transportation to our yard is essential.

    Qualifications

    • Valid Journeyman Electrician card
    • Proven experience as a residential electrician.
    • Strong understanding of electrical systems
    • Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
    • Pipe Bending
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
    • Strong customer service skills/ customer oriented
    • Ability to lift 50 (fifty) pounds from ground and pull 50 (fifty) pounds of force
    • Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling, and conduit pulling/lifting
    • Ability to stand on a roof, crawl under a raised foundation house, fully squat, stoop, or kneel while wearing tools, maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions.
    • Work off of ladders, man lifts, or reach booms.
    • Work around dirt, dust and other construction environs.
    • Preferred but not required – ability to perform solar installation tasks when needed.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
