Hello Santee!

On Monday, November 3rd, we continued the momentum of our Women in Business of East County Program with an inspiring and future-focused gathering themed “Next-Gen Marketing.” In partnership with the East County Chamber of Commerce and with the support of the East County Economic Development Council and the SBDC this program continues to bring valuable learning and leadership opportunities to women across our region.

We were honored to welcome Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, and advocate Chelsey Gray as our featured speaker. Chelsey, Founder & CEO of Spotlight Strategies and Chief of Staff at Prometheus AI, shared her powerful perspective on the future of marketing, innovation, and leadership. Attendees explored how mindset drives success, how to cut through overwhelm, and how to leverage AI to transform big ideas into intentional strategy, strengthening their vision, confidence, and productivity in today’s fast-evolving business landscape.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a WIB gathering without a little laughter, a lot of networking, and new friendships forming over shared “I totally get that!” moments. The room buzzed with energy as attendees played a fun networking game, enjoyed a sampling of refreshments, and discovered just how many brilliant women are cheering one another on right here in East County.

We look forward to continuing this momentum at our next Women in Business gathering held on the first Monday of every month.
