• Santee Chamber Weekly Update 04MAY23

  • Hello Santee!

Last week was busy with the Chamber having events back-to-back at Carlton Oaks Golf Course so let me start by saying thank you to our staff and volunteers for the extra work, it didn’t go unnoticed. Additionally, I’d like to thank San Diego County Supervisor Joel Anderson for taking the time to get Santee on his schedule as we co-hosted a community coffee last Wednesday. His impressive staff and team of interns put together an organized evening of resources and Supervisor Anderson stayed well past the scheduled end time, making certain each of his constituents had ample time to interact with him. The Santee Chamber has been the premier business organization in town since 1955; “Speaking for Business, Listening to The Community”, so we understand and value the importance for business and residents to have access to government, to provide insight into current issues, and to receive feedback from the Chamber on business matters.

This makes us proud. Proud to be a catalyst for business growth, a convener of leaders and influencers, and champion for a stronger community. But none of this would be possible without the presence of our residents and business owners who continue to show up. For each one of you who took the time to show up then, taking steps towards being more involved in your community, continuing to further your involvement in Santee, and those who keep the chamber front of mind as we strive to promote civic engagement: We see you, we hear you and we appreciate you.
