Yesterday I was invited to celebrate the success of some regional chamber leaders who have been making an impact on a national level. The CEOs of Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber (Patrick Ellis) and the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber (Nancy Hoffman-Vanyek) were honored at an Economic Forecast event with the Small Business Advocate of the Year award for their establishment and hard work on the Save Small Business Coalition (SSBC).
The SSBC was their response to the economic hardships of the pandemic as they became catalysts in mobilizing businesses, chambers of commerce, and business organizations to aid in the recovery of the business community. Their two-prong approach focused on guidance on accepted practices to restart the local economy and the adaptation and transformation for the future stability of the workforce and business resiliency through curated resources. I am so proud to have the Santee Chamber as part of this coalition and more proud to call Patrick and Nancy not only my mentors, but my friends.
