Office Manager Jennae here giving you a virtual smile! This new norm we are all dealing with is something I would have never expected us to go through. For those who don't know I was supposed to graduate and walk across the stage to obtain my Criminal Justice degree from San Diego State University after a long, but rewarding process. Thanks to COVID plans changed and I had to graduate virtually just as many other seniors did.
Despite this drastic change in my daily routine of simply being able to be on campus and learning from my professors face to face to then having to finish my college experience learning online, there is a lengthy list of things I took for granted before COVID... Being able to actually sit IN Coffee Corner for my fave iced coffee. Going to the gym, because yes I am a gym rat. Eating my box combo from Raising Cane's INSIDE, don't judge my eating habits I like to call it balance! Lastly, getting my hair and nails done! In case you didn't know, I was Miss Santee 2017 and those pampering things are my fave! Luckily, I was able to get a hair appointment with my hairstylist this week at My Salon Suite and she brought my hair back to life! I feel like a new woman! Since we aren't able to see each other in person at Chamber events right now, this selfie with my new hair will have to do!
As things begin to open up, please remember to follow the guidelines per the health order and shop Santee! Our actions will really save lives and I can't wait until Santee is all open again!
