We had a wonderful night last Thursday at Lantern Crest as we hosted a multi-chamber networking event. It actually feels selfish to say “we” hosted because Lantern Crest did all the hard work. From their creative parking solutions, to amazing catering and friendly staff, they really make us feel as if we are an extension of their pool of residents. In fact, if I were 55 years old, I think I’d consider applying to live there right now!
Yesterday I crashed a party for a groundbreaking ceremony and I’m sure glad I did! The former home of the Price Club and 24 Hour Fitness has been an empty lot for long enough. You’ll now see the corner of Cuyamaca and Buena Vista alive with over 200 jobs created for the construction of a new Sharp Rees Steely facility. This 3 story building will be home of a new urgent care, optical shop, pharmacy and so much more. Although yesterday was their official ceremony (Mayor Minto and I in photo below), it was great to see construction was well underway and you can keep an eye out for tilt-up walls coming soon! We look forward to partnering with Sharp in the future as they hope to open doors next summer.
As a final note, our office will be closed tomorrow, April 19th, for Good Friday. We will resume normal business hours on Monday. Enjoy the weekend!
