Santee Chamber Weekly Update 17NOV22

Hello Santee!

It has been a week since our 2022 Veterans Appreciation Golf Tournament and it is crazy to think how fast it came and went. We were able to kickoff the tournament and show our appreciation to our Veterans with an aerial flyover. Which is a favorite portion of our whole tournament. Everyone in attendance had lots of fun and it could not have been done without our sponsors! In addition to the hole sponsorships that were purchased we had over two dozen host a hero sponsorships which allowed us to have some Veterans out on the course playing with us. This is just a small gesture to thank them for the sacrifices they have made for our country.

Not only was this tournament possible because of our sponsors, but the main man behind this event was our hard working Board of Director, Mike Aiken. He has spent countless hours ensuring this event was a success and that it was! Having a sold out tournament of 140 golfers and over two dozen raffle prizes is something that is not easily done, but with an Event Chair like Mike Aiken who is constantly willing to lend a hand whenever and wherever it made for a smooth day out on the green!
