Santee Chamber Weekly Update 17JUN21
Hello Santee!Late this afternoon, I was among a select crowd invited to watch the ceremony for the official dining deck opening at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve. Although some have already been out and shared photos of the beautifully enhanced area, I was so glad to finally see the completed project. I really can't put into words what I saw... (1) I'm not that great of a writer and (2) I feel like you need to go see for yourself. So with that, I'm sharing a picture on the deck, not showing too much of it off!Without taking up too much of your time, a quick thank you is in order: Thanks to the Padre Dam Water Board, the Santee Lakes Staff and all involved in the design and construction of this one-of-a-kind area in Santee. And secondly, a big welcome is in order: Welcome to Ed Kim at Tin Fish, the Restauranter now operating on the deck. The food was outstanding, and his Chef made sure we went home full. Glad I was able to share one of many beautiful afternoons at the Lakes, this particular one with many beloved community members, including Santee Chamber Directors Melissa Dombo, Raceway Electric & Solar and Kyle Whissel, Whissel Realty.
