Hello Santee!
How many of you went out to the first of the City’s Summer Concert Series last Thursday? By the looks of it, A LOT of you! I’ll be back again tonight from 6:30-8pm at Town Center Community Park East. For those who were there last week, thank you for your patience as the City and the Chamber formally thanked the outgoing reign of young ladies who have served out community over the past year. These volunteers have impressed me many times over and have been a joy to be around.
To Junior Miss Santee 2021, Maddie Vandiver: You are wise beyond your years! It’s obvious you get your perfect poise and spirit for community from your parents and I can’t wait to see what’s on deck for your future! To Miss Teen Santee 2021, Ainsley Anderson: We loved watching your dedication to education and tackling so many commitments at once! Good luck as you leave for college and continue to prepare yourself for a successful adulthood. And Miss Santee 2021, Althea Valdez: What an incredible human. Your service hours went well into the triple digits this past year as you epitomized the role of Santee royalty. We are so grateful for the memories we made with you and will miss your kindness and laughter… although, I have a feeling you’ll still be helping out when you can!
Thank you again for your dedication to community enhancement. Congratulations to all the participants from this year’s program – your courage is admirable.
