Wednesday night was one for the books. Lantern Crest Senior Living officially premiered their newest building for senior independent living, The Plaza, and the party showcasing their newest space was incredible. I've never been more excited for my 55th birthday to be able to consider living at a property like this! This luxury facility boasts a 50s Diner with bowling lanes, a dinner theater, a credit union, pharmacy, dog park, chapel, gym, indoor pool and spa, tea room, bocce ball court, outdoor kitchen and BBQ area and probably some of the best dining in town!
I must also draw attention to our amazing City Council (past and present as pictured). Their support for projects like this that enhance our community offerings and grow our town amaze me. I'm regularly impressed at how often they dedicate their personal time to invest in business events and offer not just their support, but truly want to know what they can do to help see them thrive longterm. A huge thanks to Mayor Minto, Councilman Trotter, Councilwoman Koval, former Mayor Dale, Vice Mayor McNelis and Councilman Hall (not pictured) for giving Santee a business-friendly council.
