Santee Chamber Weekly Update 03SEP20
Hello Santee!Yesterday morning I couldn’t help but to get outside as soon as possible… after my husband has left for work, our pets are fed, the kids are set up for online learning for the day and the first one (or two) cups of coffee are consumed, that is! With us being about six months deep into the pandemic, I’ll take positive vibes wherever I can get them! Yesterday it was at Carlton Oaks Golf Club with a perfect setting to hang with fellow Chamber members Mike Aiken and Doug Whitney (Whitney Promotions). We took in the views over breakfast and discussed how we can move forward with our annual golf tournament while staying in line with the ever-changing health regulations which currently control so much of how business is done. For me, it’s something I am really looking forward to. I don’t care if we can’t do things as we’ve done in the past, I want to be planning big again. Sell-out events and full dining rooms are something I know will be normalized again eventually and for me, I want to have a modified event (rather than no event) after so many cancellations throughout 2020. If you are looking forward to getting back to what once was and are looking for opportunities on the green this November, check out our tournament info or send me an email, I’d love to hear from you!
