• Santee Chamber Weekly Update 03JUN22

  • Now that we are almost a week since our 2022 Santee Street Fair took place us 3 staff members would like to thank everyone that helped us put on this event! Charlie Plavi was a rockstar volunteer and was there on Friday in addition to Saturday from the early morning hours until we were done with the cleaning of the street late Saturday evening (you can see him driving away behind us!). We could not have done it without him! Thank you to Susie Parks from Coffee Corner and Greg Gagnon with The UPS Store for coming out on Friday to help chalk the street. Curtis Anderson with Salon Thrive was the one who not only picked up, dropped off, set up, and tear down the tables, chairs, and pop ups but he also helped with Beer Garden sales day of! We appreciate your willingness to help us, Curtis. We also would like to thank Melissa and Mike Dombo with Raceway Electric for not only helping chalk the street with booth space numbers but also coming at the end of the event to help clean up! Day of event volunteers like Susie ParksRichard Hatcher, and Pam White made the event less stressful for staff. In addition, thank you Darcy Fagerwold with Expressions Dance and Movement Center for being in charge of our volunteers and stage performances! You kept everyone on time! Lastly, this event could not have been successful without our Event Chair, Tim Staump with Staump Music School. Tim not only donated his time as Event Chair but also donated stage equipment that was a key component towards a successful stage area. If you see any of these rockstars mentioned above around town be sure to thank them for being so helpful!

Huge thank you to those that attended our Street Fair whether that was as a vendor or simply just enjoying the Saturday with us! We can't wait for next year!
